Health Blog!

Welcome students to our class blog. We will be using this space for class discussions to examine, evaluate, and share knowledge. Discussions provide opportunities for students to think critically on the topics we will be learning about in Health class. Concepts, assignments, and readings will be used as the basis for our discussions to create a positive learning community in which students are willing to share their ideas and to accept constructive criticism from their peers.

1. homeostasis is important because it helpsmaintain the temperature in the body and this helps almost every organ in it

2. lungs: becuase it helps the body bring the co2 in it and it exchanges it with oxygen that nesessary for the body function. also helps to transport oxygen all round the body.

3. skin protects the body becuase its an outerlayer that helpsmaintain temperature
producing sweat helps the body not to cool down
the hairs in the skin protects itself from dust and other particles

4. shivering helps maintain the body temperature becuase it creates heat when the mucles contract

  1. I would expans, on how does homeostasis help the organs and tissues to function.
"producing sweat helps the body not to cool down
" This is not clear, what does it mean?
Also note that the contraction of muscles keeps the heat.
