Welcome students to our class blog. We will be using this space for class discussions to examine, evaluate, and share knowledge. Discussions provide opportunities for students to think critically on the topics we will be learning about in Health class. Concepts, assignments, and readings will be used as the basis for our discussions to create a positive learning community in which students are willing to share their ideas and to accept constructive criticism from their peers.

1. Homeostasis is very important in the body functioning. It is the proces in which the body mantains its temperature. This is important because the body´s temperature doesnt change, no matter what happens outside, so we are not affected that much about the outside temperature
2. The lungs are an example of an organ that exchanges cheimicals. The lungs, take oxygen from the air and turn it into carbon dioxide that they later release into the atmosphere. The oxygen stays and carbon dioxide leaves so there is the exchange
3.Our skin helps the body make homeostasis in many ways. First, the skin covers the internal organs, so they are protected and heated if the outside temperature changes. also, when the temperature inside increases too much, the skin makes the sweat leafe the body and the temperature gets regulated. Finally, the skin has the hair which also help to warm up the body when its too cold.
4. On a cold day, the body mantains its temperature with help from the skin. When the body feels old, the skin contracts and hairs rise and try to get the warm particles. this process is a goosebump

2. The lungs,they make oxygen.
3.Sweat control the temperature.
Hair protects the skin from the outside.
Protect you from the sun.
4. Goose bumps makes thebody to habve a stabletemperature by making you warm.

Homework
1. Homestasis is a state of equilibrium in which all the body systems, function and work appropriately, the interuption of homestasis or inbalanced state may cause psychosomatic and psychological disorders or distresses
2. The lungs, because they exchange gases such as oxigen or carbon dioxide which include a lot of tyes of chemicals, and also has fluids that help the exchange of gases during cellular respiration
3. Skin helps mantain a certain temperature in extreme situations, Skin provides protection of micro organisms sucha as bacteria, Skin produces sweat wich helps cool the body when there are hot outside temperatures
4. The appearing of goose bumps makes inside, muscles to contract and dont let leave heatness.

Homework final
3. Give three examples of ways your skin helps maintain homeostasis in your body.
- Seat glands produce sweat as a response to hot outer conditions in order to keep inner temperature.
- The skin serves as a physical barrier against dirt, viruses, and harmful microorganisms that may infect and harm the body.
- The skin provides insulation from extreme outer temperatures and cushion to avoid physical injury of organs.
1. 1Explain why homeostasis is important to your body's functioning.
For it to maintain a correct temperature.
2. 2. Give an example of an organ that exchanges chemicals, and explain how its structure allows this.
Lungs because it has a fluid that helps it make cellular respiration
3. 3 Give three examples of ways your skin helps maintain homeostasis in your body.
Sweat helps the body to cool down in hot days. Shivering helps temperature to maintain inside in cold days. And little hairs in the skin help the body with the temperature and with the protection of skin.
4. 4 Explain one way that your body maintains a constant temperature while outside on a cold day.
Goose bumps is a way that makes the body maintain hot because it makes the muscles to contract and that way not let heat to leave the body
Ana Eguiguren
To maintain the right body temperature, so it let your body function properly so that it can make enzymes.
2. Give an example of an organ that exchanges chemicals, and explain how its structure allows this.
The lungs because it let the fluids make oxygen and pass though, to produce cellular respiration.
3. Give three examples of ways your skin helps maintain homeostasis in your body.
Sweat helps control the temperature and avoids you body from being cold.
Hair in the body helps control the temperature and protects the skin from any impure substance.
When you Shiver you create more heat , and maintain your body temperature.
4. Explain one way that your body maintains a constant temperature while outside on a cold day.
Goose bumps help you body to stay warm, because it keeps you temperature stable.

1. Homeostasis is significant because it maintains the right temperature for our tissues to survive.
2. Lungs because it allows the fluids make oxygen go through cells and tissues and cells produce cellular respiration and CO2 in the same way.
3. Little hairs in our body organize the body temperature and protect skin from impure substances. Sweat control heat in our temperature and avoid from overheat our body.
Shivering is a natural reply of our body releated to temperature.
4. Goose bumps protect our body from cold outside.
